I first arrived at Central High School in the Fall of 1984 as a sophomore. As a graduate of the Class of 87, I had ambitions of teaching high school students, and in 1995, that goal was reached. I was fortunate enough to teach Social Studies, coach Varsity Tennis, run the Intramural basketball program, and advise the Outdoors Club while at Central. Upon earning a Master's Degree in School Administration from SDSU, I became Assistant Principal at North Middle School, where I worked for five years. This is my 21st year in education. My older son attends WDT and my younger son works in Rapid City. Both are graduates of Central HS. We enjoy lots of outdoor activities including hunting, camping, four wheeling, and going to the lake. Sports are a major part of our lives and a passion of mine is to help students stay involved in activities all through high school. I look forward to working with all staff, students, and families as we work to prepare students for a smooth transition to higher education and the world of work.
