**Girls Basketball-Cobblers claim 3rd Place at State AA Tournament!!
The Cobbler Girls claimed third place at the State AA Girls Basketball Tournament in Huron over the weekend. The Cobblers defeated Huron 41-30 in the First Round, lost to Rapid City Stevens in the Semifinals 50-44, then ended the season with a convincing 55-40 win over Sioux Falls O’Gorman in Saturday Night’s Third Place game. The Third Place finish is the highest place by a Cobbler Girls Basketball Team in the State Tournament!! The Cobblers finished the season with a record of 18-6, which is also a record for most wins in a season by a Cobbler Girls Basketball team!! Congratulations to Coach Blomme, Coach Jasinski, Coach Jeremy Noyes, Coach Jim Noyes, and Coach Andersen and the Girls Basketball team for an outstanding season!!
 
Lacey Lehmann named to All Tournament Team
Congratulations to Cobbler Senior Forward Lacey Lehmann for being named to the State AA All Tournament Team Saturday Evening in Huron!! Lehmann lead the Cobblers with 17 Points in their third place game victory over Sioux Falls O’Gorman.
 
 
**Cobbler Cheer Team wins Spirit of Six Award at State AA Girls Tournament!!
Congratulations to the Cobbler Cheer team for winning the Spirit of Six Award at the State AA Girls Basketball Tournament in Huron on Saturday Night!! Congratulations to Cheer Coach Trish Mancini and the Cobbler Cheer Team!!!

Boys Basketball-Cobblers To Face Mitchell in Opening Round of State AA Boys Basketball Tournament on Thursdayships!

The Central Cobblers Boys Basketball Team will Face Mitchell at 7:45 p.m. in the opening round of the State AA Boys Basketball Tournament to be held at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center on Thursday March 18.


Boys Basketball Ticket Information:
Advanced Reserved Tickets ordered through the Activities Office can be picked up beginning at 9:00 a.m. TUESDAY MORNING, MARCH 16 at the Central High School Activities Office. Tickets WILL NOT be distributed before this time. Tournament Tickets not ordered through the activities office can be purchased at the Civic Center at any time. Tournament Season Pass is $32.00 for Adults and $20.00 for Students. Tickets per session are $8.00 for Adults and $5.00 for Students. If you would like to sit in the Cobbler section, the Cobblers have been awarded Section K in the upper balcony of the Civic Center.

 
 
**Track & Field-Season Begins This Week!

The 2010 Track and Field Season begins this week as the Cobblers travel to Chadron for the Chadron Indoor Meet on Friday March 19 at 9:00 a.m. The Cobblers will host the Rapid City Developmental Track and Field Meet at O’Harra Stadium on Friday March 26 at 10:00 a.m. The Cobblers are the returning State Girls Champions in Track and Field! Good Luck to the Cobblers this season!!

  
 
**50th Annual Cobbler Capers Concluded Saturday Night!!
Congratulations to all who performed at the 50th Annual Cobbler Capers over the past weekend….Job Well Done!! We look forward to the 100th Cobbler Capers!!
 
 
**Drama-Spring Musical Auditions Begin This Week
Auditions for the 2010 Spring Musical “Little Shop of Horrors” will take place on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, March 15-17 at 3:30 p.m. in the Theatre. The Spring Musical is scheduled for May 13-16 in the Theatre.  
**Boys Tennis-Practice Begins On Monday, March 15th.
The 2010 SDHSAA Boys Tennis Season begins on Monday March 15. The Cobblers will practice and play their home matches at the brand new Parkview Tennis Courts, a 12 court complex located next to the Parkview Pool and Softball Complex!!! Good Luck to the Cobblers this Season!
