Thank you for your interest in a certified position. To apply for a certified position, you need to be certified to teach in the state of South Dakota. If you are not certified in South Dakota, please visit our state site for "Initial Certification".

To apply for a position you will need to submit the following
 - Certified Application (Requires Acrobat Reader. Click Here to download.)
 - Copy of Transcripts
 - Copy of Praxis II Scores (http://doe.sd.gov/oatq/praxis/index.asp) 
 - Placement/Credential file and/or 3 letters of reference - needs to be dated within the last three
   years
 - Assessment: 
      - Applicant Assessment Letter
      - To take the TeacherInsight Assessment, please click here. 
 - South Dakota Teachers Certificate (or proof or eligibility) for k-12 positions only

Upon satisfactory completion of the above requirements, your name will be submitted for all open positions for which you are highly qualified to teach.
