Wow, we have had an incredible first week of blogging!

We would like to send a great big Thank You to the students of South Canyon, family members, and friends for such an incredible first week of blogging. We would also like to thank the administrators of the Rapid City School District for reading our blog and participating with us. We have wonderful, creative, 'Blogging Poets' at South Canyon. We have enjoyed reading everyone's poetry and are looking forward to reading more.

This next week we would like to create a few 'traveling poems.' You may start a poem, and ask us to join in on the creation. And of course, we still would love to read your own creations.

I miss my bestest friend Barb!

I have a friend that I greatly miss.

Some people say she looks like my sis.

I haven't seen her for awhile.

Hopefully, on May 10th I will get to see her smile.

Bre's Poetry

My friend Brianna is the best.

My friend Brianna is my best friend.

She talks a lot but it’s okay

Because I do too.

We make a perfect match!

My favorite shoes are my flip flops.

They are pink and gray.

They have diamonds on too.

That’s why they are my favorite shoes.

My jacket is the best of all.

It is blue with pink stripes.

It is my favorite jacket to wear.

Spring-

Spring picnics

Pink and purple flowers

Red flowers bloom

Ice cream

Nice warm weather

Garderning

Summer-

So so hot

Uh not thinking

Munching on ice cream

Me and Brandon say “Ya”

Evil because it’s so hot

Refill on lemonade

Wind

To have no school
